Jesus Christ
Jesus is the mediator between God and us. Jesus is our lawyer and He intercedes for us, so that we can be accepted into Gods presence. His role as mediator actually began when He came to earth and lived a pure life to make our impure lives pure. Jesus is the Son of God: The Father God decided to send Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice, so we could be washed from sin, and have access to the eternal life. The Bible says in John 1:14 that the Word became flesh, the Word is Jesus. So He became flesh to be the sacrifice we needed to be saved. Jesus lived a sinless life, regardless of His condition towards sin (if He was not able to sin or able not to sin) it doesn’t really matter, what counts is that Jesus lived a Holy life, He was pure, and righteous. Jesus was completely Holy and He was wise in His decisions. He is our redeemer and therefore He had to live a perfect life so our imperfect lives could be covered by His grace and unending love.
Jesus is not just my saviour, but my lord, my brother, and my best friend ever. He is the one who made it possible for me to have forgiveness for my past and a hope for my future. In other words He gave me a better life, full of love and hope. He is the beginning and the end of every single one of my projects and ideas for the future. To think in, living a life without him, does not make sense at all for me. He has given everything for me, so now is the time for me to consecrate my life to Him.
Jesus is the one who saved the world by His ultimate sacrifice for all creation. It is amazing just to think that the God Almighty sent His only son to earth to redeem all humanity from sin, and that Jesus died a horrible cruel death to save us. His love for humanity can not be compared to anything. There is nothing we humans could do to compare such love, His death at the cross, taking with Him all sin, is just a sign of how merciful and loving our God is to us. For such action, I have devoted myself to him, He is the lover of my soul and my friend.
